Roadmap · live

Public on purpose. Updated when things actually move.

No quarterly OKR theater. Five lanes — shipping now, in flight, queued, considering, deliberately rejected. If something here ships, it goes to the changelog and disappears from this page.

Now · in this build

Shipping right now.

  • Wrapped vocabulary across the app. Antonio Bold display type + curated palette pairs on every major surface. Done in this release; changelog for the receipt.
  • Weekly recap engine. Sunday 8am, four cards, palette posters. Fully wired.
  • iMessage extension. Send a vibe from inside any thread without leaving iMessage. More.
Next · in flight, weeks not months

In the workshop.

  • Public profile pages. The /u/<handle> surface, generated server-side from your Vibes profile. Currently a hand-built mock; production version next.
  • Annual recap. The 12-card December version of the weekly recap. Engine works, designs in progress.
  • Apple Watch app polish. The Watch surface ships, but the complications need a full review pass against real hardware.
  • Real legal review. Privacy + terms going through actual counsel before public launch.
Soon · queued, by quarter

Queued up.

  • Lossless audio for paying users. Optional subscription tier — beautiful annual recap + lossless playback for the audiophile diaspora. Q3 2026.
  • iPad-native layout. The iPhone app runs on iPad; a real iPad-first layout doesn't yet. Q3 2026.
  • Mac Catalyst. Read-only Mac client to start — see your inbox while working. Send-from-Mac is harder. Q4 2026.
  • Group vibes. Send one song to a small set of specific people. Carefully gated to avoid becoming "broadcast." Q4 2026.
Considering · not committed yet

Maybe.

  • Android. Possible. Probably not in 2026. The product depends on Apple Music and contacts hashing — both work elsewhere but the lift is real.
  • Voice notes attached to vibes. A 15-second voice clip alongside the song. Tempting because intimate. Risky because moderation.
  • Co-listening. "Listen with Maya, right now" — synced playback on both devices. Romantic idea. Uncertain demand.
  • An open API. Read-only at first — let other apps surface your latest vibe. Only if there's interest.
Never · refusals, on the record

Things I refuse.

  • An algorithmic feed. Permanent no. Read why.
  • Public follower counts. Permanent no.
  • Ads. Permanent no.
  • Selling listening data. Permanent no.
  • An "explore strangers" tab. Permanent no.
