Four sizes. All palette-aware.
How it works
Quiet. By design.
The widget is read-only — it can't play a song from the Lock Screen because Apple doesn't let third-party widgets handle that interaction yet. What it does is show the song your friend just sent, with the album art rendered in the song's actual palette. Tap it and you're inside the app at the right card before the unlock animation finishes.
No counters, no notification dots, no "X new!" with red badges. The widget either has a song to show you or it shows a quiet "no new vibes" state. We don't manufacture urgency where there isn't any.
All four sizes update on Apple's standard widget timeline — typically every 15 minutes, more often when there's actual new content. Battery cost is functionally zero.
Live Activity
When you send a vibe.
There's also a Live Activity that fires for about ten seconds when you send a vibe — it shows up in the Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro and later, with a small palette wash matching the song's color. It's a confirmation receipt. It disappears on its own. It does not nag.
